William Hartman to lead MMA business and not-for-profit services

MMA has named William (Bill) Hartman as vice president of Institutional and Business Services. He will lead services for the business and group market from the MMA offices in Lancaster, Pa., where he is based.
Previously, Hartman served in a number of roles with MMA, most recently as vice-president of MMA Trust and Foundation Services and served as Director of Fiduciary Services. He will continue to have involvement in those services going forward.
In his new role, Hartman will focus on developing MMA services that help organizations integrate faith with their work through health plans, employee retirement and benefit programs, investment strategies, and charitable giving and donor management services.
He has a law degree from Widener University School of Law, Harrisburg, Pa., and has 25 years of experience providing financial services to individuals and organizations. He joined MMA in 1998, as a Mennonite Foundation representative in Lancaster, Pa.
Hartman is a member of the Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations and serves on the boards of directors for Bridge of Hope-National and Sharing Programs of the Lancaster Mennonite Conference. He earned degrees in agricultural management and law from Penn State University.
