NEW YORK—Jayne Holsinger’s latest art exhibit, “A Visual Offering,” features oil-on-panel paintings that depict Mennonite life in Lancaster, Pa.

The series is a product of Holsinger’s MFA thesis, in which she aims to unite her Anabaptist upbringing and academic study. Holsinger attends Manhattan (N.Y.) Mennonite Fellowship. The art was on exhibit at Margaret Thatcher Projects in New York City until Oct. 6. The exhibit will travel to Goshen (Ind.) College in December.—Sara Versluis
