Great Laurel and ceramics at Laurelville
posted by Tim Nafziger on 07/11/11 at 10:41 AMLast week I shared about the Anabaptist Missional Project gathering at Laurelville Mennonite Church Center, Mt. Pleasant, Pa., in the Laurel Highlands in western Pennsylvania. Today I'm sharing with you some photos I took around the center.
As you'll see, I was privileged to be there while the Great Laurel (Rhododendron Maximum), for which the camp was named, were blooming. I also unexpectedly came across my uncle Dennis Maust preparing for a wood kiln firing of his ceramics, along with other area potters. Also watch for the two spiders that blend right in with the ceramics. There are also three bonus photos at the end from Goshen, Ind.

These photos are dedicated to the people of Living Water Community Church in Chicago. Please keep the church in your prayers as we continue through a challenging period of church transition.
